Abstract
This manuscript examines how subscription-based pharmacy models influence medication adherence among patients. In an era when chronic disease management and medication costs are of increasing concern, innovative pharmacy models have emerged to offer predictable costs and improved access to medications. This study reviews the literature up to 2020, proposes a mixed-methods approach to evaluate adherence metrics, and employs statistical analysis to assess the relationship between subscription models and adherence rates. Findings suggest that subscription-based models are associated with higher adherence, likely due to reduced financial burden and simplified refill processes. The manuscript outlines a detailed methodology, presents a statistical table summarizing key outcomes, and discusses the implications of these models on clinical outcomes. In conclusion, while subscription-based models appear promising, further research is needed to explore long-term effects and patient-specific factors influencing adherence. These insights contribute to the broader discussion of sustainable healthcare delivery and the optimization of chronic disease management strategies.
