Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has presented unprecedented challenges to global pharmaceutical supply chains, exposing vulnerabilities and testing the resilience of systems traditionally viewed as robust. This study investigates the multifaceted impact of the pandemic on pharmaceutical supply chain operations, examining disruptions in manufacturing, logistics, and regulatory frameworks. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach that includes both quantitative statistical analysis and qualitative survey responses, we evaluate how supply chain resilience was affected by sudden demand spikes, raw material shortages, and international trade restrictions. Our findings reveal that while some supply chains were able to adapt through rapid digital transformation and strategic partnerships, many experienced significant delays and quality control issues. The insights garnered from this research offer critical recommendations for enhancing future supply chain resilience in the face of global disruptions.
