Abstract
The rapid integration of telemedicine into healthcare delivery has transformed traditional models of patient care and pharmaceutical prescribing. This manuscript examines the impact of telemedicine on pharmaceutical prescription trends. Through a comprehensive literature review, up to studies published by 2017, and an analysis of prescription data using statistical methods, we evaluate how remote consultations influence prescription patterns. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, incorporating both quantitative analysis of prescription records and qualitative insights from practitioner interviews. The results suggest that telemedicine is associated with changes in prescription frequency, drug choice diversity, and adherence to clinical guidelines. The findings offer important insights for policymakers, healthcare providers, and pharmaceutical companies looking to optimize care delivery in a digitally driven era.
